But of course it was the "I take the high road" comment that got the big har-har. If it were anyone else, I'd swere that line would have had to be delivered with sarcasm. Unfortunately, Jon's compass is so messed up that renting an apartment with his mistress probably does indeed seem like the high road to him. You can't really sink much lower than bringing home the cocktail waitress and boinking her in the apartment over your garage. In Jon's world, anything that is not the most despicable behavior possible is considered the high road. It's not just Jon. I hear people rationalizing their crappy conduct every single day. It's quite disturbing.
Speaking of setting a low standard, does Hailey Glassman ever plan to support herself?
Not sure if you know this, iwhy, but Kate Gosselin was solely responsible for the boy-in-the-balloon hoax story yesterday. That and also for the famines in Africa and Obama's mom jeans. Jon, on the other hand, single-handedly is balancing the federal budget and saving the polar bears. I think Hailey is helping Jon's causes by switching from her aerosol Aquanet to a more environmentally friendly LA Looks gel.

Ok...for the past few days I have perused the many "All things Gosselin" blogs/online tabloid comment pages...etc..etc. Then I mistakenly clicked on here instead of that cess pool GWOP.
First of all I commend whoever started this site. The tongue in cheek, sarcastic, take no prisoners reparte' is so refreshing and down right hysterical.
When I was tippy toeing through the Evil Empire aka GWOP I felt the need to drop my IQ level just to relate to them.
More appalling than their evident psychotic behaviour towards Kate is when they laud each other over comments made by each other.
Personally these comments (GWOP) are as bland as white bread..and morally bankrupt not to mention just BORING!
Just saw this on TMZ. Jon better get a better lawyer!

TLC to Jon -- Pants on Fire!

TMZ has obtained a copy of the lawsuit TLC just filed against Jon Gosselin, and the network is essentially saying Jon is a liar by now claiming he stopped production because he's concerned about the welfare of his kids -- TLC says Jon is concerned about the welfare of Jon.
According to the suit, filed by Paul Gaffney of the law firm of Williams & Connolly in DC, the day TLC recast the show as "Kate Plus 8," Jon's lawyer contacted TLC and demanded that they release him from the "exclusivity" provision of the contract, even though Jon was still drawing a full salary. The suit claims Jon's laywer gave an ultimatum -- either release him from the exclusivity clause within one hour, or Jon would block the filming of the TLC show on grounds it was "detrimental to his children."
TLC notes Jon never uttered a peep about how bad the show was for his kids, until it affected his pocketbook.
And, TLC claims Jon is pulling in some serious bucks from "Entertainment Tonight" -- aka "Entertainment Something."
I'm sure she'll make a bundle for herself dishing on Jon when he gets tired of her and moves on to some other stupid girl, or she figures out that he will be penniless when everyone gets done dumping and sueing him.

The TLC network says it's suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that Gosselin hasn't met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.
Gosselin has starred for two years in "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which has been consumed in recent months by marital turmoil as Gosselin and his wife, Kate, feuded, then filed for divorce. The couple are the parents of young twins and sextuplets.
Recently, TLC announced the show would be renamed "Kate Plus Eight," with a reduced presence by Jon Gosselin. A TLC spokeswoman, Laurie Goldberg, has said the show's longtime future remains in question.
This doesn't surprise me at all. You can't be under contract to someone and then just do things to directly go against it. I'm glad TLC is stepping up to the plate.

So that means Jon must get every story written about him sent to his Blackberry. Including this one. Hi Jon.

Another thing, Insider Edition and ET have given Jon interview time every night, for the past two weeks...they documented every time he sneezed, coughed, farted...and tonight with TLC suing Jon and saying that he is being paid handsomely by Insider Edition and ET...barely a peep... Where is their minute by minute 24 hour coverage???? Ah they got caught in the Jon Gosselin tsunami....along with Kate, his kids, Deanna Hummel, Kate Major, Stephanie Santoro, and TLC...
Hi everyone, I read here a lot, but I think this is my first post. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that he has an apartment in NY. What was it, 5k per month? 2 new vehicles in the past few months and new boobs for Hailey. His lawyer is a skeez who's going to end up with most of the kid's money, this is the part that pisses me off. And, Kate now has to spend additional money on attorneys to deal with this crap. How in the hell did she put up with him for 10 years? He never was bright, but no one can tell me he didn't display these uncomprehensible character traits for the years of their marriage. TLC is gonna nail his ass, keep Kate employed and earning money, and all Jon's Tricks are gonna cash in after the fact. He's such an easy target for blackmail or a sex tape. I'm obsessed & disgusted all at the same time.

I so agree...iwhyawli's writing is utterly witty and so much on it's mark. She has a way with words...and it makes the GWOPPERS crazy....because she tells them the way it is...I LOVE THIS BLOG!!!
As usual, Jon was confused. When he said "I take the high road", he meant that he was "high on the road".
Omg, don't give Jon any ideas. I'm sure he would be THRILLED to be the star of a blackmail sex tape. Only thing is that he would be the one blackmailing the girl and releasing it.
