Today's Epic Fail

The GWoP brainthrust known as "met" posted this today:

Sharla, I honestly don't know what the answer is. I don't consider Kate a Christian. I am Christian and I try to live my life like one. My motto is "do unto others as you would have them do onto you" (i'm sure that is not the exact bible quote..i'm Catholic, we read the bulletin...LOL) I try my best in life for all those around me. Kate tries only for herself. She doesn't care about others.

Ah, so "met's" life motto is the golden rule.... do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Since 'met' likes to judge people, this clearly must mean that 'met' wouldn't mind having other people JUDGE her.

I'll be happy to judge 'met'.

Dearest 'met':

1. You're a crappy mom. Parents who can't afford to take their kids to Disneyland shouldn't have had kids in the first place. Are you stupid? What the fuck is your problem? If you and your husband would have stayed in school, studied harder or weren't so goddamn lazy, you could have better jobs and then your kids wouldn't have the embarassment and stress of constantly having to make do with less.

2. You're a crappy Catholic so quit telling people that you're Catholic. You embarass us. "Real" Catholics don't judge.

Don't tell me I'm wrong about you, met. I'm right. There can't possibly be more than one way to live life, and my way is the only way. I bet your kids are sick all the time, aren't they? I bet you live in a crappy school district, don't you? I bet you feed them processed foods. I bet you let them watch TV.

Met, you should kill yourself before you do any further damage to your kids.

Just trying to help. I'm sure you understand.

Audacity

Well I pulled this next charmer right off the top of GWoP's recent comments list.
I tried to read the rest of it but no luck. But of course, some dolt named '6kidsinpa' would know what the "right thing" to do is and I'm certain the rest of his/her comment absolutely planned on lectur ... I'm mean... telling us.

It can't be easy living your own life as well as everyone else's too. These GWoPpers are so selfless. Heroes.

All Class

So today the GWoPPers are agog and super happy with themselves because Kate's brother and sister-in-law have alledgedly offered their own front-seat Jon & Kate insights to the press.

What is it with brothers these days? Sheesh. If any of my brothers ever volunteer private information about me -- truthfully or otherwise -- it had better pertain to the criminal investigation regarding my untimely and tragic death.

Sorry, but Kevin and Jodi are a little creepy. And definitely all class. First she gives gum to the 3 year olds and now this. I can't for the life of me understand why there might be any estrangement between the two couples, can you?

It's not about whether Keven and Jodi's stories are truthful (and I doubt they are), it's about minding one's own f*cking business. Who died and made Kevin and Jodi (or the GWoPpers) the moral authority on married life, parenthood and family relationships? Take care of your own shit, starting perhaps with your burning need to pass judgment.

Transparency

Far be it from me to diss any website, including GWoP, for posting a "Missing Children" gadget as a reminder to everyone that we need to find these kids.

I think every website should include a "Missing Children" gadget.

On the other hand, what the heck does the agony of a missing child have to do with the TV show "Jon & Kate Plus 8"?

Is one of the Gosselin kids missing?

:: scratches head in puzzlement ::

Oh, I get it (sorta). GWoP includes the "Missing Children" gadget on their blog because they want everyone to think that they are truly concerned, selfless women who mean business when it comes to child exploitation.

Unfortunately, you don't have to read too many of the postings and comments before realizing that you've actually stumbled upon the best of America's most miserable, catty and self-loathing haus frau. If their own kids went missing, they wouldn't know it because they're parked on their computers 24x7 simply to cackle with contempt over Jon & Kate's good fortune and with glee over their misfortune.

I am certain of so few things but I'm pretty certain the GWoPPers aren't out there looking for children who are missing or truly exploited.

FAQ: Will I ever post the Comments

Maybe, but not posting the comments that the GWoPpers send seems to drive them positively bugfuck.

A new rule at GWoP

Ohhhh!!!!! There's yet another new posting rule at GWoP:
------------------
19. We are not a blog about religion, please do not comment or assume that we are all Christians.
-----------------
Given all the good natured, non-judgmental content over there, how could anyone mistakenly think there are any Christians posting over there?

Pathetic

This lame-ass GWoP coment speaks for itself:
