No Worries, Kate ...

... sometimes you must suffer a defeat to win a bigger victory. And, I always wanted my own telemarketing company.

Sorry to see you go, m'dear. On the upside, you've just put a big old dent in Jon's custody case. I'm also not sure how much more Bruno could stand. My enjoyment of his weekly suffering was frankly a little sick.

My advice to the on-going success of DWTS might be to get a judge that understands how the show works. The judge's scores count for less than half and the viewers votes count for more than half. The show's popularity drives up the price for advertising so that everyone goes home fat, happy and rich. If Bruno thinks anyone is watching week after week to watch his stupid antics and\or are basing their votes on who is dancing well, he (and Whoopi Goldberg) are more stupid than I thought.

Bruno might be better suited for a show call "Dancing with the Complete Unknowns"

It'll be interesting to see if viewership drops next week.

I'm calling it I predict a huge drop in rating's. I think we'll see a large decrease in all those remotes that just happened to fall into the hater's laps and forced them to watch for a minute. P.S. I won't be watching either, I find Bruno annoying.

I find it ironic that the so called child advocates support Whoopi Goldberg who thinks Roman (child molester) Polanski should be let off scot free. I don't hear any outrage about that. But, lets give Whoopi a pat on the back because she hates Kate.

Can anyone say hypocrits??

The ratings next week should be very interesting.

iwhy, can a person be any more unknown than that Jake guy?

I agree about "Diva" Bruno and I too think the ratings will drop, however I would continue to watch DWTS if I could be assured that Louie Van Amstel would lift Niecy just so I could hear the "Lift Nazi" Carrie Ann's comments.

Did ABC shut down Kate & Tony's phone # early? I'm reading comments all over about people not being able to vote? Is this another conspiracy? Phonegate, anyone? Reminds me of the AI conspiracy with Clay Aiken & Rubin
Studdard which reminds me does anyone know what happened to Rubin? I have not seen or heard anything since he won AI but I hear about Clay Aiken all the time. "Mary Did You Know" is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard written by Mark Lowry & Clay's rendition...WOW. Download it you will not be disappointed.

Are Whoopi Goldberg's opinions viable? Personally I dismiss everything she says out of hand just because I can and because she would NEVER be allowed to walk any red carpet anywhere, anytime. Kate could and probably will walk many red carpets.

Yeah, best I can tell, Jake has no more claim to fame (whatever that is) than Kate and we definitely don't see anyone ragging about Jake's inclusion on the show.

Except for Buzz and Evan, there is nothing all that remarkable about any of this season's contestants, except possibly their chutzpah.

As far as I'm concerned, I've been watching "Dancing with the People in my neighborhood who I Haven't Met Yet."

I wonder how much our electric bill would drop if we just stopped watching TV altogether.

Your Honor, hi.

I noticed when I voted, I was only able to vote 8 times each time of the 22 times that I voted. In previous weeks, I was able to vote 10 times.

In any case, it was time for Kate to go. She's got MUCH bigger fish to fry both at home and work, and the joyous novelty of her driving all the GWOP bonkers was getting repetitive. It's sorta like how you should never be the last one to leave a party.

If Erin Andrews were smart, she'd get herself bounced off the show soon. OchoCinco too. Let Evan and Nicole duke it out. Third place is always the most pitiful and that spot this season should go to Jake.

iwhyawli said...

I'll also be the first to admit that the sheeple conspiratists are as bat crazy as the creeple conspiratists.

There ain't no way AT&T would agree to turn any phones off early.

Conspiratists may not be a real word.

Once again, GWOP has proven where it lies.

Save all kids on reality tv has 35 comments.

Kate's elimination has 156.

I really need to stop doing this. It just makes me want to slap someone.

I don't put much stock in Whoopi or anyone else. Everyone has an opinion. Who cares? If I were a betting person, I would put money on the ratings tanking now that Kate is gone. Although I think they will now play with Pam Anderson in the "last place" role. It should be interesting to see if tons of Pam-related articles are suddenly out there saying she is a bitch, she fights with her co-star, etc. just like what happened to Kate.

Hey Anon,

I agree with you and I think IWHY probably would too. She might even say, "Here, use my hand". After all she is the Queen of tongue in check.

We can all breathe a sigh of relief and be stress free for a while since we know that the Gwoppers and their ilk will be harping on Kate & DWTS for weeks or until Kate says or does something else wonderful for them to put their magnifying glass to and snark on. Good Karma is lost to all of them and probably sooner than later is going to kick each of them in the butt.

IWHY,

I have read here about the Princess Boards. Went there to get a chuckle from the Degrassi one you mentioned. I played around and was actually able to read some comments but I could find no logic in the sequences. I am technically challenged..ok. Can you explain to me how that site works? Since I so enjoy your views I want to read anyone else you recommend.

Re: the Gosselins cutting to the front of the lines @ Disney had nothing to do with their security and EVERYTHING to do with entitlement. My brother works there in management and acts as a host to VIPS when they come to the park. He's spent the day there with Sir Paul McCartney, Hugh Jackman, Christina Aguilera and guess what? They ALL STAND IN LINE per Disney's policy. Not to say there aren't other behind the scenes perks that they do get, but line cutting is not one of them. The only people who get preferrential treatment when it comes to the rides are people with disabilities - there is a different area for them to line up for the ride, but they do still have to wait their turns as well. I asked my brother if he had seen the Gs this weekend as he worked as well and he didn't. When I mentioned that they had been booed because they were cutting in on all the rides he said wow, she must've demanded that because otherwise that is not something they would normally do even for VIPs.
The other interesting tidbit is since ABC is owned by Disney my bro has two friends who are PAs over on the DWTS set. Her nickname there is "angry Kate" and pretty much the rule is that when the cameras are off, do not approach or talk to her. The reports of her being late to hair and make up were completly true and even AFTER being given a talking to from the show's producer her behavior in that regard did not change. Also, every single segment of her being interviewed or talked to on that show is completely scripted. Nothing spontaneous whatsoever. We should probably assume this is true of Kate and her media team on whatever media outlet they are on. There were rules regarding what verbage one could use when interviewing her - no refrences to any of the children by name, Jon by name, the old show, and of course TLC. By doing this they are severing her image from the past and pushing her forward relabeled in vague terms like "America's favorite mom" or "single, working mom", etc. My brother also confirmed to me that there was a contract between TLC and ABC for keeping Kate on for a certain number of shows and placing her in a positive light. Of course, the only thing that didn't work with that is Kate herself. You'll notice that her rehearsal segments were really short because just like with Jon when they used to do the show, they couldn't get good footage because of her attitude.
Interesting. We all knew/guessed this stuff from the get go, but it's kind of nice to hear from real people in the know that we're right. The real disappointment is seeing the corporate greed and what they will try to pull over on the public and what they will ruin on their way to get there.

Dear Your Honor,

The Princess Board is what the young kids these days are calling a message board. The format is a little different than a blog in that just one of the many delightful threads in the many delightful forums is devoted to GWOP and the comments within the GWOP thread (as well as other threads) run chronologically. The latest stuff appears at the end of the thread.

On the main page, you'll find the GWOP thread in the Pop Culture Gossip\Literary Chit Chat forum. The latest GWOP thread is now up to 185 pages.

I prefer their message board format to this blog format for lots of reasons but mostly because: a) there's less digging around for who said what recently, b) other posters help steer the conversation in new directions without having to wait on me, c) I'm pretty sure conversations with other posters can take place without having to wait on me to publish (or accidentally delete) the comment, and d) apparently you can BAN the people who repeatedly post crap.

If I could wish for anything in the world in additional to health and safety for all the little children of the world, I would wish that I didn't have to moderate this blog's comments. Sure, yeah, I could turn off the moderate comment feature, but then suddenly, you all would be forced to look-up new names for body parts you didn't know existed as well as new places to shove them. You see, the GWOPPERS have vulgar potty mouths, which I suppose is why Sharla has to have that rule about no profanity.

Unfortunately, stupid Sharla created her drivel in blog format, and being a parody blog and all, I was forced to follow suit.

Hope this helps, Judge. I'll expect some leniency on my next traffic ticket.

I bet Sharla Smith had an orgasm when Kate got voted off DWTS. You are one sick bitch Sharla...one sick bitch.

I, for one, will NOT be watching DWTS ever again unless my left big toe happens to step on the TV remote and changes the channel to ABC at precisely 8 o'clock, in which case I shall then be forced to watch against my complete and total free will. Oh crap, I sound just like a gwoptard, don't I?

RE The Ridiculous Disneyland Story

I really hate it when the retarded women of GWOP make up insane "insider" or "eyewitness" type lies. I wish the gwoppers would get over their rabid envy of
Kate and just STFU already. Kate is famous and you gwoppers will never be famous so just deal with it. You aren't child advocates you are just a bunch of lazy a-holes who get off imagining that you are doing something that is harming another human being. If anyone deserves bad karma it is you gwoppers.

I also would like to thank you on your history lesson...I'd read the sanitized version a while back. I knew they were up to no good even then. I confess I have a personal grudge against Fairy Dust, when I first heard she was a hater working for the vipers. I did not believe it & actually went to GWOP to find the posts. Yuck, ick, puke! If only I'd known about the wise iwhyawli, I could have been spared the ugly.

I like the way you show respect to judgejudith by standing when she enters the room and referring to her as 'Your Honor.'

I believe the proper etiquette is to start by requesting "Permission to speak, Your Honor."
I'm not a bloggin' lawyer though, so I am not sure about that point. Maybe it's more relaxed in this jurisdiction?

The truth of the matter is concerning "celebritites" and Disney, yes they do get a Disney ambassador assigned to them and with that privelege, they get to go on rides via the backdoor. There is no line cutting. That's a fallacy of those who are jealous.

It's a Disney policy and most often gratituity is a part of it. Disney treats their celebrities guests good because it ensures they'll be back and most often, celebrities do come back because they can afford to. So, why not hook into the ambassador tours? The celebrities are smart to do so.

Disney assigns ambassadors to celebrities also for protection. In fact, it's to keep EVERYONE at their parks safe, both celebrities and everyday guests.

Has anyone been to the nosy neigbours site lately? She used to just be a gossip but now she's just nasty. I think she's been hanging with the cow's from the farm site. She's got her panties in a knot over cookies of all things. That Kate has some nerve, not excepting cookies from psycho who drives by her house, takes pictures of her kids, hangs with the paps and blogs shit about her.
Oh and it's her professional opinion that Jon is just a poor misunderstood home town boy.

Pa. Approves New Kate Gosselin Show
Pennsylvania labor officials have approved Kate Gosselin's new TV show with her children to be filmed outside Reading, Pa.

A state official told TMZ on Saturday that all the labor permits had been approved for "Kate Plus 8," the summer spin-off series from "Jon & Kate Plus 8" featuring Kate Gosselin and her eight children.

Kate Gosselin will be required to withhold part of the gross pay for the series in a trust fund for the children.

On April 14, the state said it found that filming was done on "Jon & Kate Plus 8" without proper permits, but no legal action would be taken against the show’s producers as long as they got permits for future filming.

Also, going forward, 15 percent of the gross earnings must be put into a trust for the children.

A filming permit was not either submitted or approved for "Twist Of Kate," a second TLC show set for Kate Gosselin.

That show features Kate Gosselin interacting with fans

Anyone ever go to the GWOP Facebook page and look at some of the posts on there? Specifically some of the names of the people posting on that page? Gets me to thinking that perhaps I'm seeing the faces of some of the GWOP blog posters- and on fb it seems like the majority of people are using their real names. There is one person w/ the last name Schatzberg or some such thing- perhaps that is the "Schatzie" on GWOP?? One person going by the name "Holly" is just toooo wrapped up and intense about the Gosselins if you ask me! And you can see their pictures (which I assume is theirs) and some don't even have their own fb page set to private! (I know, I feel kinda dirty even going into that much investigation re/ those crazies, but just couldn't help myself. I'll go wash my eyes out w/saline now and do penance.) They are kinda icky as my 5 yr. old goddaughter says!!

IWY,
If it's cool with you, here is the site for the neighbour. It's called Small Town Gosselin, she does run a pretty tight ship, so people may have trouble posting. It seem's like she may have run into some problems from both sides. To be fair she has posted me twice now, even though she has been informed about my duplicitous motives. She seem's open to allowing some debate on her site. NO porn links please people, it makes us look bad, and these are some church going folks. Although, I have my thoughts as to who is following pro-G poster's around & posting smut...hmmm time to play Nancy Drew. I'll give you guy's a hint I don't think it's anybody from places I post at. Who could it be, who could it be?
